Ready with handles fitted: no screwing or fitting handles at home. Two practical lid formats: a knobbed lid for the kadhai and a flat, knobless common lid for the saucepan or frypan. Dimensions, thickness and item weights Cookware Diameter Weight Kadhai with its lid 23 cm 570 g, including lid Saucepan 17 cm 360 g Frypan 17 cm 230 g Steel thickness: 0.7 mm. Interior: polished steel. Exterior colour choices: Maroon or Copper Gold. Handle assembly: supplied pre-attached. The sizes above are vessel diameters, not capacities in litres. The kadhai weight explicitly includes its dedicated lid. The common lid does not have a separately stated weight, so these figures should not be treated as the packed shipping weight of the complete set. Exactly what you receive 1 × 23 cm kadhai with two attached side handles. 1 × dedicated kadhai lid with a central knob. 1 × 17 cm saucepan with its handle attached. 1 × 17 cm frypan with its handle attached. 1 × common 17 cm flat steel lid, without a knob, to fit the saucepan or frypan. Total contents: 3 cookware vessels + 2 lids. The saucepan and frypan share one lid; only one of these two vessels can be covered with that lid at a time. Each purchase includes one complete set in the colour selected. Food, cooktops and styling accessories shown in photographs are not included. Compatible with your everyday cooktop Both colour variants offer the same cooking compatibility: Induction: suitable for use on an induction cooking zone. Gas flame: suitable for conventional gas burners. Infrared: suitable for infrared and radiant electric cooktops. Electric heater: suitable for an electric cooking hot plate. Place the vessel securely in the centre of the cooking zone and follow your cooktop’s vessel-size guidance. On gas, keep the flame beneath the base rather than allowing it to rise around the coloured sides or handles. A useful vessel for each part of the meal 23 cm kadhai — curries, sabzi and everyday sautéing. The wider shape gives you room to stir vegetables and prepare dishes such as paneer curry. Two side handles help with handling, and the dedicated lid with a knob covers the kadhai when needed. 17 cm saucepan — chai, milk, sauces and simmering. Its deeper shape suits liquid-based preparations and small everyday portions. Use the common flat lid when you need to cover it. 17 cm frypan — quick sautés and smaller preparations. The shallower shape is useful for vegetables, paneer and everyday pan cooking. It can use the same common lid supplied for the saucepan. Two finishes, one coordinated set Maroon brings a rich, understated colour to your kitchen. Copper Gold adds a warm metallic look. Both feature polished silver steel interiors and steel lids. Copper Gold is the exterior colour name; the cookware body is steel. Handle styling differs between the colour variants. Please refer to the photographs of your selected colour for the handle design. Handles are pre-attached on both variants. Ready to use, with handles already fitted Your cookware is delivered with the handles attached. You do not need to attach, screw in or assemble the handles. Before the first cooking session, remove the packaging, wash with mild dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge, rinse thoroughly and dry. The handles and steel lid components can become hot during cooking; use suitable heat protection when handling hot cookware. Care that protects the coloured exterior Let the cookware cool: allow it to cool before washing. Use gentle cleaning tools: clean with a soft sponge or soft cloth and mild dishwashing liquid. Avoid harsh brushes: do not rub the coloured outer surface with wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive scrubbers or rough scouring pads. Avoid harsh chemicals: do not use strong chemicals, abrasive cleaning powders or harsh cleaners on the exterior. Soften residue before cleaning: use warm soapy water to loosen food instead of scraping the coloured surface. Rinse and dry: rinse away soap and dry with a soft cloth before storing. Gentle hand-washing is recommended to preserve the finish. Avoid heating an empty vessel, and keep direct flame away from the coloured sides and handles.
