A beautiful Pathmeda Cow statue depicting the love of Mother and Child. The cow in Hindu society is traditionally identified as a caretaker and a maternal figure and Hindu society honors the cow as a symbol of unselfish giving. In India, the Vedic tradition has encouraged an Agrarian based civilization. Cows have always played a pivotal role in the Vedic Agrarian society. Everything from, milk, butter, ghee, curd, cheese, even the cow’s dung and urine are considered very sacred in Hindu Vedic tradition.
